The World is Starving for …

More information?  More research?  More “how to’s?  Or, is it more spiritual connection?

As I sit here in St. Theodore’s hospital, surrounded by brilliant minds, dark field microscopes, and questions about what specifically heals the body, I cannot help but wonder when the bridge between science and spirituality will truly be embraced.

My love for fasting developed through an experience that transcended science.   One that went well beyond logic, reason and every belief that I held about life.  It resulted from an experience that enabled me to truly see the essence of all of life.  That there is no separation.  That we are light beings.   Beings of energy; vibrating at different frequencies, attracting different aspects, of what we call life, to us and through us.   Do we really need more books on what we need to eat?  What foods to avoid?  What exercises we need to do?  Or is it that we simply need more information about who we truly are?

Imagine… our bodies as a physical representation of the beliefs that we hold about ourselves and the world in which we live.  Could it be that the cure and elimintation of cancer lies, not in the research of more drugs, but in the revealing of who we are?  Could it be that a cure for every dis-ease known to man will be a result in a shift of the collective consciousness, a peeling away of the layers, that separate us from each other and the world around us?  The answers to these questions are a resounding YES!

It’s time to face the the facts… our medical system has failed us.  Although it has its place in repairing, it must be transcended in order to heal.  Technologies have continued to advance, and diseases continue to grow.   Science, without spirituality is limited.  It addresses the physical (the effect), but not the cause. All healing occurs at the level of BELIEF!  We have within us the power to transform our bodies, our minds, our lives… if more of the world only believed.  It’s time to see beyond the Maya (illusion) of science, the medical community, teachers, parents, books, religion, politics and instead, realize that the only limits we possess are limitations of our own minds.

My true interest in fasting has been the death of all that we have been made to believe (”make believe”).  When one embarks on a true fast (removal of all senses) for an extended period of time, the illusion is revealed and the truth of who we are and what we are capable of immerges.  Eckart Tolle says “Death is a stripping away of all that is not you. The secret of life is to “die before you die” — and find that there is no death.”  Fasting enables parts of ourselves to die, dissolves the separation and allows us to see behind the curtain of life.  It creates a “near-life” experience and moves us closer to GOD!

Our World is starving… and it is starving for connection with God, with each other, with nature and with ourselves.  Return home today.  Remove the veil. Embrace all aspects of life, as its all LOVE.  It’s all God.  It’s what we are all hungry for!

Namaste.

    Hi
I just had one of “those” experiences. Too much stress, work, or distraction from a singular focus drains the spiritual battery. I work with Patrick directing Integrative Medicine at St. Theodore’s and it is easy to get a little overwhelmed with the size of the task. So off I went to the mountains for some exploration and some peace. I am planning a fast but thought I better scope out the spot first before hiking with a 40K pack.
At the top, nothing but the wind in the trees, the sound of a running water in the valley below and birds. Instant peace. All my worries evaporated as if they never existed. What a view. Hundreds of miles of mountains. And a new idea, camping/ farming for post treatment, and I met an owner of land who said we could cultivate it on the way back down the mountain. This would be an ultimate spot to plant spiritual seeds. MMM let’s see what happens.

From one of the most philosophical movies ever made.  This scene epitomizes what it means to completely let go and embrace it all.
